Our law office opened at its current location at 823 Jefferson Street in Fairfield in September 1978, when Denis Honeychurch partnered with R. Anthony Finkas and Luis M. Villarreal to open the Law Offices of Honeychurch, Finkas, & Villarreal. In 1982, Mr. Villarreal was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown as Judge to the Solano County Municipal Court, later becoming a Superior Court Judge, whereafter the firm continued as the Law Offices of Honeychurch & Finkas for thirty years. In 2012, Mr. Finkas retired, at which point Mr. Honeychurch continued at the same office as Honeychurch & Boyd with attorney Curtis Boyd until 2023. Mr. Honeychurch continues to defend his clients zealously to this day with legal experience second to none, having celebrated his 50th Year as an attorney on December 13, 2022.

Denis Honeychurch, Attorney at Law has the distinction of being one of the only criminal defense firms in Solano County to have achieved a Not Guilty verdict on death penalty jury trial case, has been named numerous times as the Top Law Firm in Solano County by the Fairfield Daily Republic, has been named “Super Lawyer” for over ten years, and have continued to attain outstanding results since our opening over 45 years ago. Mr. Honeychurch’s office has achieved hundreds of dismissals of criminal cases and dozens of Not Guilty verdicts at jury trial – even in the most serious of cases – over the course of its long tenure in Solano County.
